New play area opens

Good morning everyone

You are all invited, on the 10th October 2024 at 4pm, to the opening of the new play area on the Green in Shipton-on-Cherwell.

There will be the opportunity to thank our Oxfordshire County Councillor, Nigel Simpson, and Earth Line, who have helped the community to achieve this beautiful play area for our younger villagers.

A very special thank you will go to our Parish Clerk, Sarah Kearney, together with our Parish Council Chair, Ian Wylie, who tirelessly have been helping our community (and other communities in the area) to make our villages always a better place!

Please come along with your children and enjoy the celebrations of the opening with our parish community.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
