The Management Team
Our Village Hall is run by a Management Committee, being the trustees of the registered charity, who are very ably assisted by a highly valued cleaner and small team of volunteers. Collectively, we manage the bookings and the site.
The charity's purpose is to provide a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the local parish. So it is primarily a community venture but wants and needs to attract other users to remain in existence and to be able to thrive. Currently we would like to find new users - both on a regular basis and for one-off events.
Trustees are variously appointed by local organisations (Holy Cross Church and the Parish Council), elected by residents of the Parish at the Annual General Meeting, which is usually in May, or co-opted by existing trustees.
